Victor R. Drouin, President/Owner: Mr. Drouin began his telecommunications career in 1981 installing and testing microwave antenna systems for long-distance carriers throughout the United States. By 1984, he had become an owner of Microwave Technician Specialists, Inc., which built and installed telecommunications sites.As a Project Engineer for Bay Area Teleport in 1987, Mr. Drouin designed fiber and microwave reconfigurations on a 300-mile network. During 1990, Mr. Drouin formed Drouin Communications. He provided management consultation to Ericsson Radio Systems. Later he was hired as Vice President of Operations for Telecom Network Specialists. In 1993, Mr. Drouin relocated to New Hampshire from California to begin a partnership known as Drouin Communications Services, later known as Green Mountain Communications, Inc. Catherine D. Drouin, Vice President/Owner: Ms. Drouin began her career in accounting for Microwave Technician Specialists in 1985. After serving as an Assistant Property Manager for Diversified Shopping Centers in the late 1980s, she assumed responsibility for all accounting functions for Drouin Communications from the time the company was founded in 1990. When Drouin Communications relocated to New Hampshire in 1993, Ms. Drouin also assumed responsibility for administrative functions and served as Secretary for the company. Since 1998, Ms. Drouin has served as Vice President of Green Mountain Communications, Inc. Donald H. Snyder, Jr. CPA, Controller: Before joining Green Mountain Communications in 2003, Mr. Snyder built an impressive resumé serving in a variety of operational and financial management positions. He started his career in 1977 at Dana S. Beane, Jr. and Company, CPAs. Throughout the 1980s and 90s, he served as Controller for a number of companies. In 2001, Mr. Snyder relocated to New Hampshire and joined VUTEK, Inc., a printer-manufacturing firm with close to 400 employees worldwide. His position as Treasury Manager required compliance relationships with bank syndicates as well the servicing of more than $170 million of working capital and senior debt instruments. Since he joined the company in 2003, Mr. Snyder has been Controller at Green Mountain Communications. Mr. Snyder has a B.S. in accounting from Bentley College, Waltham, MA. Steven C. Merrill, Director of Sales: Mr. Merrill serves as Director of Sales and is responsible for positioning the company to face the challenges of the evolving wireless networks. Jason M. Lander, Senior Project Manager: Mr. Lander joined Green Mountain Communications in 2002 as Project Manager and has been a Senior Project Manager since 2006. Previously, he served as Field Engineer/Estimator for Peter Kiewit Construction Co., where he worked on a $326 million contract that was part of Boston’s “Big Dig” project. At the end of 1999, Mr. Lander entered the telecommunications industry as a construction specialist with Nextel Communications. In this position, Mr. Lander supervised construction on new sites, as well as renovations and maintenance at existing sites throughout New England. Mr. Lander has a B.S. degree in construction management technology from the University of Maine. Steven F. Connor, Project Manager: Mr. Connor has served as Project Manager at Green Mountain Communications, Inc. since 1996. Prior to joining the company, he worked in the construction industry for more than 20 years in both public and private sectors. Past positions included Project Manager/Treasurer for the Kinsmen Corporation and Assistant Superintendent/Project manager at Catamount Construction. Mr. Connor has a B.S. degree in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire. David D. Sykes, Project Manager: Mr. Sykes has been with Green Mountain Communications, Inc. since 1998 as Project Manager. Previously, he had served as Project Manager for Barry Construction, which became Glazing Management in 1995. His work included projects for Disney World. Mr. Sykes has an A.S. degree in business management from Laconia Technical College. Douglas C. Skelley, Project Manager: Mr. Skelley joined Green Mountain Communications in 2003 to install and manage the design for installations of cellular communication in-building systems. He brought more than 24 years of experience as an installer, estimator and project manager in the industrial, commercial and residential construction fields to his current position. Mr. Skelley has an A.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Community College of the Air Force. John Vittum, Safety and Training Manager/Foreman: Mr. Vittum joined Green Mountain Communications in 1997 as a Tower Hand. Later that same year he was promoted to Foreman. In 2006 Mr. Vittum was promoted to the position of Safety and Training Manager in addition to his role as Foreman. Prior to joining Green Mountain Communications he was employed with Nelson Communications where he worked for two years as a Steel Erector/Line and Antenna installer. John also worked for Cianbro Corporation for two years as a construction worker/pipefitter before joining Nelson Communications. Mr. Vittum is a Certified Com Trainer, Anritsu Certified, and has completed the OSHA 10/HR and OSHA 30/HR course in addition to being certified in First Aid & CPR, RF, Connector and Aerial lift training among others. Green Mountain Communications is a member of NATE/OSHA National Partnership and Mr. Vittum is instrumental in maintaining the safety guideline requirements of the NATE/OSHA National Partnership. |
